Slugger spends a lot of time home alone. I always thought most of it was sleeping, but today when I got home I discovered he had a girlfriend. He looked a bit annoyed at the intrusion, but then she doesn't look very warm or cuddly to me. At least I know there won't be any kittens! I grabbed this photo and wish I had time to remove the red rubber mouse on the nameless girlfriend's back!)

THE GIRLFRIEND
Slugger spends a lot of time home alone. I always thought most of it was sleeping, but today when I got home I discovered he had a girlfriend. I continue to be amazed at what we can all see right under our noses, if we are paying attention. We are so used to thinking that we need to "go OUT and photograph" when there are so many things right at home! Lovely photo!
